These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms. Mandatory statutory remedies are preserved.

Identify who receives payment

Payments directly to a property owner for rent, deposits, bookings, utilities or accommodation are governed by your written agreement with that recipient and applicable law. StayJi's enquiry or payment-proof features do not create escrow or a guarantee that the owner will refund you. Obtain the total payable amount, recipient identity, cancellation terms, refund timeline and permitted deductions in writing before payment.

StayJi charges

If a StayJi subscription, listing, referral, qualified-lead, conversion or other platform service is offered, its quoted scope, applicable taxes, billing trigger and cancellation/refund conditions must be disclosed before acceptance. The actual configured owner pricing and acceptance snapshot remain the pricing source; this policy inserts no substitute amount. A lead is not a guaranteed tenancy.

Requests and disputes

For a disputed StayJi charge, contact support with the account, transaction/reference, date, amount, service and reason. Do not send card security codes or OTPs. We review duplicate charges, services not supplied, billing errors and cancellation requests against the disclosed terms and mandatory remedies, and explain the decision and any approved refund route/timeline. No blanket non-refundable clause overrides applicable law. No refund deadline is promised without a supported payment process and legal review.

Owner disputes and unavailable properties

Ask the owner to correct or refund a direct payment under your agreement, preserve proof and report suspicious conduct to StayJi. We can review the listing/account and facilitate appropriate communication but do not adjudicate tenancy disputes or promise recovery. Bank/payment-provider and lawful consumer/police remedies remain available. Do not pay solely on the basis of a StayJi listing; verify the property and recipient first.
